Cybersecurity - An Update for 2021

This is the 2021 update lecture from the cybersecurity presentation to the Computer Club in 2020. Jim Dodmead, an IT professional for the Navy, has provided an update on cybersecurity trends since then.  Then we will review some questionable and not so questionable emails to discuss the decision-making process concerning what to do with those emails when you get them.

What’s New in the Computer Club’s Open Room

The open Room is the front part of the Computer Club facility where members can walk in and use or try club systems.  Prior to reopening in the spring of 2021, multiple systems were replaced, some new software was purchased and other systems were moved.  Brian Osgood will present the update plan and where we currently stand.
